Las Vegas Fun!

We have been in Las Vegas for a week now and it has been great to be able to get a little R and R before the babies are born. This week we have spent time with our good friends Jason and Courtney Smith and their super cute little boy Carson.  It has been such a great week and today I became a "lady who lunches" and went out with Courtney, Barb (Courtney's mother in law) and Carson. We went to a new Las Vegas restaurant called "Serendipity 3". The original is in New York City and is famous for it's "frozen hot chocolate".

We ate ALOT of great food and of course had the frozen hot chocolate! The weather was beautiful and Carson had a great time. 

Jason and I also went out on Saturday with the Smiths. We went to a local place called the Vitner's grill and it was great. The top picture is both me and Courtney all ready to go out on Saturday. Our husbands didn't want to get in the picture, they are a bit camera shy!

The babies have been kicking up a storm, although they are making a liar out of me. Any time I tell Jason to come over and feel them kicking, they stop the second he puts his hand on my stomach. They are already little jokers! They probably weigh a pound to a pound and a half each now, and they are about 11 inches long . Soon, there won't be much more room in my stomach but thankfully, pregnancy only lasts 38 or so odd weeks! 

I will try to be better about updates. As soon as I take pics I will put them up....promise.

Look! It's the Goodyear Blimp! No it's just me....

Hi Everyone,

I am updating the blog with a new bump pic and as you can see, there is no hiding this anymore. Most women ask me when I am due and then flinch when I say August/ September. I then have to say "twins" and they nod their heads at that!

Easter is this weekend, and we are just hanging at home. We got Fannie May candy so that we can really ring in the Easter holiday, and to introduce the boys to the BEST candy around. They will be getting it in their easter basket every year- well every year when they have teeth!

Hi Everyone,

We have visual conformation -They are both BOYS. We are so excited for these two to be born, especially now that we know what they are going to be! 

I have downloaded the ultrasound pics of the little wieners and the 2 long things are their legs with the little stuff in between being their genitalia. They may not have come out great but I tried!

Nothing else new to report, no bump pic this week because Jason has been in and out of town for pretty much 2 weeks (home for 24 hour stretches here and there) and I kind of need him to be my photographer. Next week I promise I will put up a bump pic. It is large and in charge!
