Viva Las Vegas!

Hey Everyone! It was the babies first trip to Las Vegas this weekend and they were troopers for mommy! They got a little upset (which means that I get the dry heaves) when cigarette smoke is around, and they don't like it when I stand on my feet for too long (back aches). They are pretty vocal in telling me what they like or dislike! We just got back from Las Vegas last night and had another Dr.'s appointment this morning. Everything looks great and we have more pics to post.

On the left bottom is Baby A- still bigger and still super calm (hope that it stays calm after the birth too! ). Baby was sucking its thumb again today. Every time we see the baby on the Ultrasound it is sucking it's thumb. Baby B on the right was giving us quite a show this week. It flipped over from being on its back, to its side and then it flipped onto its front. It is laying on its front pretty much mooning us in the pic above. The Dr. couldn't really give us a good pic of Baby B today since it decided to do all sorts of gymnastics. I think we have a little active one on our hands!

Next week is our last appointment at the reproductive endocrinologist, and they call it the "graduation" appointment. I am now stable enough to go see my regular Ob/Gyn and will be seeing her from now on. I will only have 2 more ultrasounds next week, and then I will have to wait like all mothers for maybe 2 more throughout the whole pregnancy. We will get the next ultrasound on DVD and post it again for all to see.

On another note, Vegas was great this weekend! We really had fun and saw Billy Joel in concert. We got to hang out with our friends Jason and Courtney and future Bickler twin best friend Carson. We all had so much fun together and Carson is getting so big!

We hope everyone had a great Valentines Day!

Still Movin' and Groovin'

Ok, I am going to attempt to post the ultrasound from today. It will be over when the film stops. I actually had to put it in three parts- sorry. The first 2 are Baby A and the last one is Baby B.

Today we saw Baby A sucking it's thumb right at the start! I'm happy about that because maybe we have a self soother! Baby A became more active as the ultrasound went on and you can see it moving it's little legs and body again.

Baby B was sleeping, but you can see it's spinal cord pretty well, and it is laying on its side. It moved a bit after some prodding towards the end.

I have posted my first growing belly pic too! Yes, It is growing at rates I can't explain. Clothing is tight and I am finding myself more frustrated looking at a closet full of my clothes that I can't fit into anymore. I have like 4 things that fit, so that is what I work with right now.

I hope this week finds everyone well, and feel free to leave comments in the "comments" section of the blog. Hope to talk to everyone soon!

Movin' and Groovin'

This week's ultrasound saw both babies having a blast in my uterus. All this activity is taking place unbeknownst to me as I can't feel a thing!

Baby A was taking a nap when we first looked at it. Baby B was on it's side doing what looked like stomach crunches. It obviously wants to tone up for it's big delivery day because Mommy has been feeding it very well lately!

Baby A then decided to join the party. This one is laying on it's back and so it started to kick it's little frog legs all over the place. It was so cute!

The Dr. immediately said that they are taking after their mother- "doing to much, when they should be taking it easy." That was his exact quote. I don't think he likes the fact that I have taken on a 7 week sub job right at the start of this pregnancy! Oh well, can't please them all, right! My theory is he is overly cautious and I am just the right amount of cautious! He keeps reminding me that I fall under the "high risk" category of pregnancy's.

This week also found me VERY sick with a nasty cold/sinus infection thing. The whole school is sick with this cold so I got it from one of my lovely kids that have been hacking and sneezing all over me! I went to work sick all week thinking I could "power through" it, but finally today (Friday) I had to give it up and take the day to recover. Dr's orders. This cold has been kicking my booty since Monday. A weekend of R and R should do the trick. It's soup and orange juice for me all weekend!

That's all for now. Our next checkup is Monday and maybe I can post video of the little movers on the blog!
