The Family Truckster

It's time to say goodbye to my little red "single girl" mobile and HELLO to the new family truckster!  I have to admit that saying goodbye to my little zippy car was very sad, I have had it since 2002 and it was the first car I ever bought on my own. It is truly the end of an era. However, I am so excited to have the new Audi Q7 to soften the blow! It is so cool and I love the look of it and the new car smell. It's functionality is awesome too, but hey I'm a girl so all the bells and whistles are something that Jason likes to oooh and ahhh about. I just think it looks pretty sweet!

It has a third row of seats which is important so that we have extra room for the baby seats. There is plenty of storage for the double wide stroller we will have to be using along with all the random baby stuff that will need to be carted all over the place. 

Next project, BABY ROOM! It's all coming together. soon it will be baby time! :)

I like to move it, move it!

The above picture is me and Courtney comparing our belly bumps. She is 16 weeks pregnant with her second baby (a little girl) and I am 26 weeks pregnant with our little ones. We have no makeup on so excuse us! You can obviously tell who is having twins vs. who is not! She looks so cute with her little baby bump next to my HUGE bump.  One of these things is not like the other!

This week has been a rather active in both our lives and the babies lives. They are moving ALL OVER the place and non stop kicking. Needless to say, i haven't gotten much sleep. 

We are in Las Vegas running around, buying a car, hanging out with friends. It has been a very fun week and now I am looking forward to heading to Chicago next week.

As I mentioned before, we are hanging out with our friends this week, and Carson has developed a love for the swiffer. He loves to push it around the house "cleaning". I had to take a picture of it because I have never seen a one year old happy to sweep up around the house! I think it is one of his favorite "toys" right now! Too funny!

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in Chicago next week! 

Family Visit

4D Ultrasound!

This week was full of so much fun! First of all, Mom and Dad Bickler came to S. Cal to visit along with The Henry's. We had such a great time, going to Fashion Island, hanging out at the houses, swimming, and shopping for the new babies. It was really great to have them here, and we miss them already!

Also this weekend, Jason and I (along with Aunt Joanna and our friends The Maris's) went to Before the Stork, a special ultrasound office that does 4D pictures of the babies. I was finally 24 weeks so we could do this to get a glimpse of what these 2 look like. Of course, I think they are adorable, but I'm the mommy!

They are still in need of fattening up, but you can see their sweet little faces. Everyone thought baby A looked like me and Baby B like a Bickler baby (saw some of Miles Henry in that baby!). It is funny to see them interacting together. Baby A LOVES to kick his brother in the face (which he did repeatedly). It looked like an ultimate fighting cage match in there! Baby A also took the opportunity while we were watching them, to sit on his brother's head....ah sibling rivalry starts at a young age I guess.

One Year ago....

Hey Everyone,

This is just a little blast from the past pic that I remembered today while watching the Kentucky Derby. We were at the Derby last year and what a difference a year makes!

The above picture is us on Derby day 2008 right before we left for Churchill Downs. This new pic is this year Derby time 2009. What I wouldn't do to get into that dress again! Maybe next  year! :)

We are winding down our time in Vegas and heading home Monday. We really have had a wonderful time here and we can't wait to come back at the end of May.  When we get home Mom and Dad Bickler are coming in to visit on Friday and staying a week. We will have tons to do and all celebrate Mother's day together. It will be nice to see the family for a while!
